Vision Sunday 2019

Vision Sunday 2019

On Vision Sunday 2019, Rob Chisholm shared how we as a church have seen God at work in 2018 and how we hope to grow in the following areas in order to fulfill the mission Jesus has given us. That mission is that Jesus has sent the whole church to do the whole mission of making disciples to the end of the earth until the end of the age.

Specific areas that we hope to grow in over the next year and beyond are:

Worship- We want to grow in our knowledge and worship of our great God. During an upcoming retreat, the pastoral team will be considering how we can continue to grow in our pursuit of God when we gather on Sundays in particular.

Witness- We want to grow in the area of evangelism. While always desiring to equip the saints of Grace City to be faithful in personal evangelism with our friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers, the pastoral team believes God is leading us to come together as a church to reach out to our neighborhood with an introduction to Christianity course that will be facilitated by the members of our church this Fall.

Well-Being- We want to grow in our care for one another within the church this coming year. This includes pastoral care for our members alongside fostering deep relationships between the members of our church family.

World- We are eager to continue developing our gospel partnerships with churches in the Dominican Republic and Zambia as well as beginning a relationship with some particular churches and a leadership school in Belarus. This new relationship is being fostered through Greentree Church which is one of our partners in the NE Region of Sovereign Grace Churches.

Please be praying in the coming days and weeks about how God may be calling you to join us in our commitment to the mission that God has called us to.
