4th–6th Grade Youth Group
Our 4th–6th Grade Youth Group serves as a discipleship bridge between our children’s classes and the 7th–12th Grade Youth Group, providing spiritual and practical guidance through the exciting changes that accompany these years of upper elementary and early middle school.
We meet from 6:15–8:00 on Sunday nights twice a month during the school year for food, games, and teaching. Parents, you are welcome to stay to watch…and you might even be asked to join in the game! By God’s grace, we want to come alongside parents to prepare our students not only for “real” youth group when they hit 7th grade, but for a lifetime of discipleship to Jesus, loving God and others because they are loved by God. For more information regarding group meeting dates and location, please reach out to us at ne@gracecityphilly.com.
All our youth ministry volunteers have completed all Pennsylvania required background checks, received training in their role, and completed Child Sexual Abuse Awareness training from MinistrySafe.

Food & Fellowship
We start off the night with some light snacks and time just to hang out together, during which the students enjoy good food and swapping stories from their week with their friends.

Fun Games
Next, we play some fun group games together. When the weather’s nice, we’ll play outside, so let them know to dress accordingly!

Teaching & Discussion
For the teaching, we hope to blow their minds with how big God is and warm their hearts with his love expressed in the gospel. We tackle big questions about God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, our purpose in life, salvation through Jesus, our duty toward God and man, and more, utilizing the Trinity Catechism as a basis for teaching and discussion.
