Mission

Grace City exists to glorify God by making and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ who celebrate, proclaim, and display the gospel as a community of believers in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus has sent the whole church to do the whole mission of making disciples to the end of the earth until the end of the age. The mission of making much of Jesus is not just for some super Christians; it’s for every Christian. Everyone who belongs to Christ is called to live for his glory and to obey his commands. As a church, we exist to do this together. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we worship God, build up one another, and seek to tell our neighbors about Jesus while showing them the love of Jesus. We want to love our neighbors in Jesus’ name and with Jesus’ gospel.

This good news and these good deeds are for neighbors near and far; the mission is worldwide in its scope because the good news is for everyone. Jesus has purchased by His blood a people from every tribe, tongue, and nation to praise Him forever, and it’s our joy to participate in his mission. By God’s grace, we have planted two churches in the last several years (in Wissinoming and Frankford). We long to see churches planted in our city, nation, and around the world. It’s our privilege to support church plants in Trinity Fellowship Churches domestically and to partner with church-planting and training efforts internationally, all for the fame of Jesus.

We can fulfill the mission Jesus gave us, not because we’re so great, but because Jesus himself is with us by the Holy Spirit to empower us to do what he has commanded us to do. Jesus has promised to be with us on mission until He returns to make all things new.
