Third Tuesday Prayer Meetings

Join us on Tuesday Nights June 17, July 15, and August 19 from 7:00-8:00 PM at the Ashton Rd. building as we take some intentional time to pray together this summer.

Why – We are instructed to pray, exhorted to pray, empowered to pray, and the testimony of the church in the new testament is that they prayed together. Prayer is not just a duty we get to participate in but we are also assured that God hears and God answers so we are encouraged to pray confidently.
“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.”

Who – Everyone is invited. There is no childcare but also children are welcome.

When – Third Tuesdays in the summer (6/17; 7/15; 8/19) 7-8pm

What – Each night will start with a short meditation from scripture and then there will be 3 periods of prayer. Each will start with an update and encouragement on who/how to pray then then we will pray in small groups. Areas of focus will be (1) Needs in the church, (2) local mission and our city, (3) ministry partners and global mission.

Where – Downstairs at the church building (8950 Ashton Rd.)
